      Tasty, but quite salty. I’d consider substituting water for chicken stock next time.

  • Lasagne

      Both the ragu and the bechamel are very tasty ... needed a 2.8litre baking dish, not a 2 litre one - which is what was indicated, and what I started with. It was never going to fit .. after layer 1 I thought "nope".. there's 2 litres of bechamel and 1.2 litres of ragu, so I tipped it all into a larger dish, made another 100g mix of pasta and continued.. not quite a lasagna layering, but still very tasty. Note to self for next time!

  • Lamb meatballs with Lebanese rice

      I made the Lebanese rice portion only, to be served with fish shakshuka from another recipe. Used light chicken stock for water. Excellent pilaf with perfect lightness and doneness. Added some TJ’s mushroom seasoning when cooked through to taste.
