Very nice seafood risotto. Delicious and easy.

  • Miner's pie

  • Everything soup

    • august_ij5hgw on May 21, 2026

Made this for my GF when she was sick. It was very fun to make.

  • Arkhan the Cruel's flame-roasted halfling chili

    • august_ij5hgw on May 21, 2026

It seems a little odd to put cocoa powder in chili. But it was very good.

  • Hardbuckler stew

    • Ishie1013 on January 21, 2024

Nice warm filling stew for mid January with nice chunks of lamb. Found it nearly impossible to find 3 lbs of boneless lamb shoulder, but got cut up lamb leg from my butcher. I haven't had rutabagas much before, but they really rounded out the potatoes in this soup. Very nice with a crusty bread.

  • Surrogate steaks

    • darthpanda on January 25, 2026

This is not on page 164, it is on page 170

  • Evermead

    • Ishie1013 on January 21, 2024

Wasn't quite sure what to expect from this drink since I'd never heard of putting jam into a drink before, but it was really nice with strong gingery notes and a chest opening sensation. We did add the optional brandy (or vodka) the recipe called for which blended with the flavors nicely. It does somewhat evoke a mead, though simultaneously bringing to mind a spiced tea.
