      I made this, left out the hibiscus flowers because I didn't have them. Blended it smooth in my vitamin. Been in my fridge for probably 6 months, still tastes great, I like it on eggs.

      Made it to dip dungeoness crab in. I really liked it, my wife didn't. I subbed the fermented hot sauce I made from this same book for the pepper paste.

      Made this exactly as the recipe said. Turned out wonderfully.

      I made this with the homemade venison andouille from the same book. Turned out excellent and spicy. Rice took much longer to cook than the 20 min the recipe said though.
