Notes about Recipes in this book

  • Shanghai-style sticky pork belly noodles

I added some Sichuan peppercorns, that was a mistake. Way too overpowering. Without them, this would probably be a very nice dish. The pork was beautifully tender, the sauce was thick, rich, and sticky. Would also be tasty over rice, other noodles, or in soup.
