    I've made these a few times. They're good, and not too sweet.

• Garlic roast chicken (Suànzi kăojī / 蒜子烤雞)

    This recipe was quite a disappointment. Meat was nicely flavored with garlic, but skin was neither crispy nor blackened as advertised nor was the garlic under the skin of the breast meat "sweet as candy."
