Notes about Recipes in this book

  • Caipiroska

    • traveller on March 10, 2024

Longrain is where I first learned to love the caipiroska. I don’t make the sugar syrup just sweeten with palm sugar and muddle heaps of limes.

  • Yellow curry of chicken and sweet potato

    • traveller on March 10, 2024

Brilliant recipe. Make heaps of the paste and then freeze it. This absolutely wows those who I make it for. A fabulous dinner party meal!

  • Braised beef shin with a hot and sour salad

    • Foodycat on November 26, 2017

Absolutely delicious - I didn't have oyster sauce so I added a slosh of fish sauce for the oomphy savouryness, and I added some cucumber ribbons to the salad. Perfect with steamed rice.
