    I added asparagus and substituted toasted walnuts for pinenuts. Quick and delicious!

• Broad bean and ham sauce

    I only had a small amount of broad beans at the time, so I added some asparagus as well since that always pairs well with ham and bacon. This was a nice, not too heavy pasta sauce, though I felt like it could have used a little cream or cheese, or something richer. (As it was I added some grated cheese at serving.)

    This ‘sauce’ was a first for me. Talk about a quick dinner-and delicious. It’s in my rotation. Used heavy cream for double cream.

    Solid easy pasta dish to throw together with primarily pantry ingredients. Very filling with both the tuna and beans.
