A 21st century revision of this classic Anglo Jewish cookbook, updated by the author and her daughter Judi. An excellent collection of traditional and international dishes for the Jewish kitchen. As well as handy sections on substitutions to make non-kosher recipes kosher, there is an extensive baking section with useful discussions on how to substitute flours so that North American and Australian cooks can get good results from recipes conceived for British flours! You don't have to be Jewish to appreciate that! Or to enjoy the delicious baked goods from this cookbook.
