    Well written, super simple recipe. Very molasses forward. I made a half batch and mixed by hand since it was such a small amount, came out lovely. I think I would try grape seed oil with these next time since it seems to taste more neutral (I used vegetable).

    Excellent flavor, a little too sweet. Did not have the required size pans. This may have contributed to the cakelets falling apart and much longer baking time.
