Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

    A few weird things going on for a stir-fry recipe; I consistently have to adjust down the garlic stir-frying time for these authors, for instance. The marinade didn't really separate off the chicken, for me, and I let it sit in the pan without stirring for a bit so it could brown before moving on to the next step. But the final product tasted great over brown jasmine rice, especially as leftovers--bc the dried black mushrooms finally had time to finish plumping up and sharing flavors. Good, quick chicken soup!
