Can substitute white sugar for brown sugar, and clear vinegar of your choice for cider vinegar

Where’s the full recipe - why can I only see the ingredients?

Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

Tasted great with simple pantry ingredients and easy preparation. I made half a recipe with unpeeled baby red bliss potatoes, each cut in 3 pieces and everything was cooked to perfection at the suggested time.

Sauce was delicious and the recipe cooked as stated. My error was to have the grill up too high, so although the food turned out well, the tray was in sad shape and lots of fat splatter through my oven! Will make this again, but will be more conservative with the griller temperature! This sauce would also be great with chicken wings or pork rashers.

The sauce was very good and the potatoes came out really well for us. Good recipe, easy and fast.

Tasty and quite quick to make though the timing should be adjusted to type and thickness of chop. Boneless loin chops, 2cm thick, were done after 12 minutes roasting and 2 minutes under the broiler.
