Marinated skirt steak sandwich with horseradish cream from Food from Plenty: Good Food Made from the Plentiful, the Seasonal and the Leftover with Over 300 Recipes, None of Them Extravagant (page 203) by Diana Henry

Where’s the full recipe - why can I only see the ingredients?

Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

I came here with an 8 oz piece of flank steak for 2 sandwiches. We loved the horseradish cream (this time with sour cream & a grainy Dijon) and the fried onions were a simple but good addition. I also liked how the marinade ingredients were simmered together before cooling & pouring over the meat but I missed the acid so next time I would scale the oil back and add a good splash of red wine vinegar once it cools.
