This book has GREAT recipes. The lentil and potato stew and minestrone soup have been go-tos for my family for years.

Notes about Recipes in this book

  • Asparagus and carrot vinaigrette

    • PennyG on October 14, 2024

I made the vinaigrette only from this recipe and it was delicious over a baby bok choy and arugula salad. Note: I used 2 tsp of Dijon mustard and added a bit of Burlap & Barrel Tomato Powder.

  • Cherry tomato and onion salad

    • mamacrumbcake on July 01, 2015

This is a beautiful and delicious salad, and really quite simple to make!

Tasty and easy except for the chopping of the cherry tomatoes. I skip the watercress and add feta.
