Notes about Recipes in this book

  • Muesli how I like it

    • eeeve on July 06, 2018

A nice muesli mix, even the toddler likes it (I think it's the coconut flakes)! I used oat flakes (not rye) and raisins (not dried cranberries). I would probably reduce the amount of chia seeds next time. Made this as overnight oats with both cows milk and coconut milk, and both versions came out really nice.

  • Spring pea soup with roasted radishes

    • ksg518 on August 11, 2024

I make pea and lettuce soup all the time in the summer but this is a nice variation using spinach. The photo (which is also the cover photo) is misleading since the radishes just sink to the bottom of the bowl. I don’t think the radishes add much and wouldn’t bother with them next time.

  • Roasted pumpkin, Romanesco & butter beans

    • Hannaha100 on October 30, 2021

This one was not popular with my fusspots (particularly the pumpkin). Used cannellini beans and reduced the spices. Pumpkin takes quite a long time to cook properly. Leftovers made a nice salad. Served with quinoa.
