Notes about Recipes in this book

  • All-purpose stir-fry sauce

    • lissabeebe on February 03, 2025

Fantastic, versatile sauce. Used it to make a simple, tasty Sheet Pan Broccoli Beef recipe from her blog

  • Ginger scallion sauce

    • crandall57 on October 01, 2025

This is a very tasty sauce. I cheated and put all the ingredients, except the avocado oil, in the mini food processor. The texture would have been better if I'd chopped everything, as instructed, but the flavor was still great. We had it with the Ginger Scallion Fish.

  • Cashew cheese sauce

    • crandall57 on February 23, 2026

This was good, not overwhelming, but good.

  • Magic mushroom powder

    • lissabeebe on February 03, 2025

I always have a jar of this in my pantry and use it several times a per week. Does not taste of mushrooms— just yummy flavor. Perfect in mashed potatoes. Important addition to my chicken and beef bone broths. Secret weapon in the kitchen.

  • Scallion pancake tacos

    • crandall57 on October 09, 2025

These pancakes were restaurant quality. We didn't fold them into tacos, we just put the fillings on top, along with the Ginger Scallion Sauce. I used the 1/16" ring on my rolling pin for the initial roll out (before adding scallions). They cracked a little when I coiled them into a cigar, but we flatten them in the tortilla press anyway. She recommends parchment paper on the tortilla press, but we always cut a gallon size ziplock bag and use that. After pressing, we rei-rolled it with the rolling pin, but didn't go the 1/16" the second time. They fried up beautifully and we will make these again.

  • Crispy smashed potatoes

    • crandall57 on November 27, 2025

      Easy and delicious.

  • Ginger scallion fish fillets

    • crandall57 on October 01, 2025

This is a quick and delicious way to prepare white fish fillets. We used Tile Fish and, because our fillet was a little smaller, I only broiled it for five minutes on high.

  • Chicken velvet and spinach soup

  • Chicken tikka masala

    • Dollhouse_Cuisine on January 30, 2023

Very yummy, and has a definite kick (but not too strong). We omitted cilantro because we didn't have any on hand. So cilantro-haters needn't worry that it's a crucial ingredient.

  • Instant Pot ground beef chili

    • elizabeth_yeb8cc on February 11, 2026

Our favorite chili!!! Usually don’t include the fish sauce. Have made with 1/2 ground beef and 1/2 beef stew meat and was fantastic!! Also great on stove top. Have made with beef broth too and was great!

  • Shaking beef

    • crysta_63qusi on April 30, 2026

I make this frequently - it comes together very quickly, so make sure everything is prepped. I typically use top sirloin and arugula.

  • Instant Pot braised pork belly (Buta no kakuni)

    • jennifer7582 on May 23, 2026

Everyone loved this so much. We ate it with a Buddha bowl.

  • Chocolate mug cake

    • crysta_63qusi on May 05, 2026

Easy, fast, delicious, especially with some powdered sugar and raspberries. Perfect for when you want just a little something sweet, but not overly so.
