      A recipe correction appeared in the March/April issue of this magazine. "In step 4: In a small bowl, mix together brown sugar, ground almonds, cinnamon, remaining 1/2 cup (113 grams) (instead of 1/3 cup [76 grams]) butter, and remaining 3 tablespoons cocoa."

  • Coffee and cream marbled coffee cake [espresso streusel]

      This looked great in the photos, so I had to try it. Don’t have a tube pan, just Bundt pans, so I decided to just make it in a 9” springform instead. Took almost an hour and a half to bake, but the results were fantastic! Really delicious cake, with lots of coffee flavor, and a pretty marbled appearance. Absolutely delicious, one of my favorite coffee cakes.

      Did a half size with a bake time of 47 min. The marbling didn't show well, but it is really tasty. Coffee flavor is strong.

      This a large cake & went from ok to WOW the next day. I baked it in a non stick tube pan (1 hr & 5 min) & had quite a bit of trouble removing it. A different pan next time. The marbling is beautiful.

  • Key lime doughnuts

      These were like little muffins in a doughnut shape. The lime flavor was quite nice. I thought the lime glaze would be too much, but it was great. I would make these again; however, don't expect a cake doughnut texture. The texture was much more fluffy and light.

  • Raspberry olive oil cake

      Very simple & quick oil cake. Used fresh raspberries & baked in 45 min. Better the next day.
