Notes about Recipes in this book

  • Farmstead flank steak

    • lkgrover on January 10, 2024

Good marinated & grilled flank steak. I cooked in a grill pan on the stovetop because I don't have a grill (and its January & cold). Cooks quickly if you prepare the marinade ahead.

  • Brassica (sort of) Caesar salad

    • lkgrover on April 19, 2026

Delicious broccoli & cauliflower side dish. I used a commercial Caesar dressing instead of making this recipe's dressing (because I am wary of raw eggs).

  • Fall fagioli soup

    • Jenjeanh on March 26, 2024

Used rutabaga instead of turnip and frozen spinach and Swiss chard instead of beet greens

  • Stir-fried tomato and egg

    • lkgrover on March 11, 2024

Good egg & tomato recipe, served with rice. I enjoyed for breakfast.
