pg38 SIMPLE RASPBERRY SMOOTHIE -One word .... delicious!!!!

  • Hellyloves2cook on May 23, 2017

pg 53 Banana Snickers Shake This is my 12 yr old sons favourite smoothie ever now! Easy to halve the recipe for one person but it is too delicious -I always like to share it. I have also made this with almond milk instead of the water. Both are just as wonderful as each other. I use a high power blender (Vitamix) and this recipe comes out super smooth and thick. Pure Heaven .. its been years since I ate a Snickers Bar (UK Marathon) however it did indeed bring back memories of guilty pleasures. This is far far nicer and healthier. It is also filling and great for a pick me up if having an afternoon slump.

This was the first smoothie I made from this book and it remains a staple for me. It is easy to make, tastes amazing and extremely satiating.

  • Strawberry pompom

I found a few strawbs in my freezer and together with the pomegranate that was in my fridge was able to cobble this smooothie together. I loved the addition of basil leaves it adds a real lift and takes the whole taste to another level.

  • Grab & go blackberry oats

This is a real go to for breakfast. I make the night before and enjoy it the following day. In the absence of blackberries I have used mixed berries and raspberries.
