    We loved these muffins. They have a lovely flavor and texture and are easy to bake. Mine took 22 minutes instead of 20. I plan to add some finely chopped crystallized ginger next time to boost the ginger flavor and add some crunch.

    Made for Christmas using oat creme fraiche instead of sour cream. This worked well. Smallish rustic style muffins. Very moist due to pear. Could have used more ginger? Batch of 15.Froze well. Daughter loved.

    These are delicious muffins! They bake up beautifully and are not too sweet. A great way to feature our NW pears.
