Hi! I’m looking for recommendations for baking books which focus on different cuisines, like Kristina Cho’s Mooncakes and Milk Bread and Kat Lieu’s Modern Asian Baking. In addition to western baking books, it seems like there are a smattering of Middle Eastern ones (Suqar, etc) but I would love to learn more about traditional bakes from other parts of the world. Bonus points if you’ve come across a good Indian breads book. Thank you!

Hi, this is my passion as well - baking books from different cuisines -- I will include everything that isn't French, British or American just to make it comprehensive. This post was about global baking. I'll share links to the books that are coming out in the near future below and books that are already out here. (The ones in bold I have). I also have a collection of pastry books in other languages which just are eye candy.

Thank you Jenny for the list, and Teriosityb for asking the question! My wishlist just got much bigger.

To add another title:

Mountain Berries and Desert Spice by Sumayya Usmani is about Pakistani desserts (baked goods, puddings, candy, etc.).
