      My all time favorite chicken soup recipe the best!

      I want to try this again with traditional yams, as the sweet potatoes were too soft and never got thick and sticky like I wanted. I also wonder if not having a wooden bowl made a difference. It was hard to get enough liquid out of the mash and really never came together. Definitely good served with stew, like African peanut stew.
