    Just discovered this book and wish I had known about it years ago! An amazing compilation of classic hors d'ouevre, with the most extensive collection of straightforward recipes for spreads, patés and terrines I've seen in one place! Many of the recipes are shown with quantities for individual use and entertaining and again in quantities for large events or catering, so it's extremely useful. There are recipes for just about any starter or snack you could wish, including fish and seafood items, vegetarian options, and many Asian items, as well. In short, this is truly comprehensive!
