Notes about Recipes in this book

  • Blueberry crumb muffins

    • corsentino on August 25, 2024

I’ve made these twice and they’re very good. The 1st time as written and the 2nd time using sour cream for extra tang and moisture. Def an upgrade. Used the blueberry muffin recipe from The Best Recipe as a template and followed Natasha’s recipe for everything else. A combo affair, delicious!

  • David's fettuccine Alfredo

    • cookingbychapter on April 15, 2026

Good, needed a bit more cheese to make the sauce taste other than cream.

    • hailey_p9ylhp on May 10, 2026

Added a 1/4 tsp more to the onion & garlic powder, and I used a short pasta instead of fettuccine

  • Potato pierogi (Vareniki)

    • megbgraham on May 25, 2025

I loved this recipe! I’ll definitely make these again. Next time I’ll make something fresh and light as a side dish, as the dish is pretty rich and heavy.

  • Chicken in mushroom wine sauce

    • tim_pteyrt on February 08, 2026

Absolute favorite. Love the sauce. Goes well with mashed potatoes and green beans.

  • Crispy coconut chicken strips with two-ingredient sauce

    • megbgraham on April 08, 2025

Really good! Kids loved it, super easy. Will make this again.

  • Classic Greek salad

    • BrendaD1962 on October 29, 2025

      Delicious, I make this often.

  • Homemade chicken bone broth

    • courtney_nb7i83 on March 01, 2026

This is pretty much the base recipe I use for homemade stock or broth. Use what you have! She calls for the bones to be cooked for a while on their own, but I throw all of the ingredients into a slow cooker and cook overnight for the sake of time. This is great to have on-hand and in the freezer for quick weeknight meals.

  • Creamy chicken and rice

    • william_kygztn on February 17, 2026

Very tasty, I will make this again.

  • Creamy pesto pasta

    • vegabond2016 on December 31, 2024

I'm not used to putting lemon juice in pesto, but it was nice that it prevented it from turning brown during the 3-4 days that I stored the leftovers in my fridge. A good easy recipe that I would make again.

  • Smothered chicken tenders with pan gravy

    • tim_pteyrt on February 08, 2026

Loved the gravy and putting the tenders on top of the mashed potatoes.

  • Baked salmon with garlic and Dijon

    • christina_an88v2 on April 01, 2026

Used the air fryer 400 degrees ten minutes. This was one pound of salmon.Doubled the sauce and used it on asparagus, then roasted it.

  • Teriyaki baked salmon

    • thefritschkitchen on May 22, 2024

I really liked this teriyaki sauce - was easy to pull together and very flavorful (and yes, of course, sweet!) Baked salmon pretty standard - served with white rice and roasted broccoli. Great dinner

    • spenceral on August 25, 2025

Super simple and tasty recipe. Used 6 6oz. Salmon filets

  • Beef and broccoli stir-fry

    • megbgraham on May 25, 2025

I’ve made this dish a few times, it’s super easy and a hit with the kids. Will repeat it!

  • Cheeseburger sliders

    • thefritschkitchen on July 24, 2024

Quick and easy, these were a hit with my family. I halved the recipe, which was plenty for my family of 5. Wil definitely be making again.

  • Green beans almondine

    • tim_pteyrt on February 08, 2026

Made with Christmas dinner. Loved by the family.

  • Best-ever brownies

    • Misha27 on November 28, 2023

These were unreal. I made a double batch for a work event and got plenty of compliments. Delicious. Will definitely make them again

    • thefritschkitchen on June 15, 2024

I was not a fan of this recipe. They ended up incredibly crumbly - could barely even get them out of the pan, and definitely not in one piece. They are also very rich, but not in a satisfying brownie way

    • tim_pteyrt on February 08, 2026

Made with my daughter Jordan. Best when made in an aluminum pan.

  • Berry cheesecake bars

    • megbgraham on April 08, 2025

REALLY good. Cheesecake turned out perfect, was super easy and tasty. I’ll make this again for guests for sure. Much less intimidating than regular cheesecake with water baths.

In 1989, four-year-old Natasha Kravchuk and her family entered the United States as refugees from Ukraine. Her mother was an amazing cook and spoiled her family with delicious meals, so Natasha never learned how to cook until she got married and had her own family to nurture. In 2009, she began blogging about the joy she discovered in creating and sharing recipes. Her audience exploded, connecting with her warmth and willingness to share both her triumphs and failures in the kitchen.

In Natasha's Kitchen, she shares 100+ budget-friendly, foolproof recipes anyone can whip up on even the busiest weeknight. From Salmon Piccata and Turkey Meatball Soup to Crispy Bacon Jalapeno Poppers as well as traditional Ukrainian recipes passed down from her mother like classic Borscht and her famous Pierogis, Natasha's family-friendly recipes are made with easy-to-find ingredients and have been thoroughly tested. And because she loves to have her large extended family and friends over, there are also menus for sharing and easy entertaining--from a taco bar to a chili bar to the ultimate cheese board.
