Notes about Recipes in this book

  • Creamy carrot bake

    • Silverscreensuppers on January 24, 2017

I loved this - really tasty - you will need an egg too - not listed in ingredients here...

    • Silverscreensuppers on January 24, 2017

Oh, and butter too, also missing from ingredients listed here.

To Silverscreensuppers for information: at the bottom of the list of ingredients for this and every recipe is the following note: Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity. Unless this recipe had 4 or more eggs and 1 stick or more of butter those ingredients won't have been listed.

  • Flaxseed buns

    • ccav on April 28, 2016

Made as flatbread. This was surprisingly good, and bread-like. Will make again as buns. Used onion flakes and caraway seeds.

  • Prawn and carrot noodle stir-fry with peanut lime sauce

    • ccav on April 28, 2016

Very good and easy. Made easily in a bowl; used hot water and pressed garlic.

...this book is packed with approachable recipes and so many variations and tips. It’s fantastic! There’s a Fish Curry with cilantro lime rice that I can’t wait to make. (I’m on a savory kick.)
