      This was ok, but I didn't love it. Sometimes it's worth making a bechamel and adding a shed load of cheese! Probably wouldn't bother making again. Cauliflower took waaaay longer than 8 mins to soften

      Half was a reasonable amount for dinner for 2 - needed a little extra soy sauce, but had a good bright flavour

      A very simple but nonetheless delicious salad when made with garden tomatoes and cucumbers. I had to sub lemon for lime in the dressing and added a bit of soy sauce for an extra savoury hit. Some dressing was left over so I’m going to use it up with some feta and lentils from a previous dish. We had this with homemade pita as a quick lunch, but this would go with a variety of dishes such as salmon or simply cooked chicken. Will def make again.

  • Prepare-ahead quesadillas: greens and Brie

      I used this filling recipe with adaptations; sautéed red onion with garden kale for about 10 minutes, then added the hot pepper and some frozen edamame. I also used a smoked cheddar instead of Brie and added some lemon juice at the end. Cooked on panini grill, it sort of fell apart but was delicious. Second time around I added some cooked garlic scapes. Great way to use bits of veg from the garden.
