Notes about Recipes in this book

  • Green chilli dip (Nam prik noom)

    • treay on April 15, 2026

The dip was a good accompaniment to the Thai sausages, but it was very spicy from all the chillies, even though I removed some of the seeds. However, I served it with some mayo, as suggested, and it helped a lot.

  • Northern Thai sausage (Sai oua)

    • treay on April 15, 2026

I had to do some improvisation, as I cannot get sausage casings where we live. She suggested to make the mixture into patties, but I tried to roll them as a sausage and it worked really well. I already had the curry paste mix in the freezer, so it didn't take that long to put them together.

  • Thai sausage rolls

    • treay on January 28, 2026

I made these sausage rolls to take to a party and they were very popular and disappeared in no time. Many people commented how good they were. This is my first recipe from this book and must say that I also thought they were delicious. I had to make the curry paste as is part of the ingredients in the sausage rolls filling, and I have some leftover paste that needs to be used soon, so it would really help to suggest recipes from the cookbook where you can use it. This is her first book and even though the recipes are easy to follow, they could be a bit more detailed in some parts. However, I'm really looking forward to trying out many more recipes from it.

  • Sai oua curry paste (Nam prik sai oua)

    • treay on January 28, 2026

I had to make the curry paste to use in the Thai sausage rolls filling, and I have some leftover paste that needs to be used soon, so it would really help to suggest recipes from the cookbook where you can use it. The sausage rolls were delicious by the way!!!

  • Drunken noodles (Pad kee mao)

    • Lafro on March 10, 2026

Used the suggestion for modification of this recipe to pad see ew on the same page. Found it very flavourful and an easy weeknight meal.

  • Pad Thai hor kai

    • katewalton on March 10, 2026

Great sauce recipe, but fairly certain this should serve 2, not 4 as stated. The amounts would be insufficient for 4 servings.
