Notes about Recipes in this book

  • Ginger and honey cake

    • Lepa on January 14, 2026

This is delicious. I was a bit worried because it felt like there was so much sugar going into the cake but the end result is highly satisfying. We ate it, as suggested, with a bit of the stem ginger syrup and a spoonful of plain yogurt. My husband, who loves spice cake, especially loved this one.

  • Orzo and turkey broth

    • Colson1987 on January 08, 2026

Comforting and healthy. Comes together quickly.

  • Earl Grey and fig scones

    • Lepa on December 27, 2025

These were exceptionally delicious scones. The flavors and textures were amazing. We are them with clotted cream and marmalade. They were such a treat to linger over during this slow week!

  • Parsnip loaf

    • Colson1987 on January 04, 2026

Subtle and quaint cousin of carrot cake. Elegantly understated.
