      I only had brioche buns but otherwise made the recipe as directed. This was easy and very satisfying.

      This is my go-to scone recipe. It always works well. I use a food processor to mix it and substitute the following: Self-raising flour = all purpose flour + 1tsp baking powder and 1/2tsp salt Golden castor sugar = light brown sugar

      Good cookie! Got a jar of British stem ginger from the import store. I used C&H dark brown sugar (which is rather light in color) for the light muscovado sugar, and used Wholesome's coconut palm sugar (also brown) for the golden caster sugar. I should have just used granulated white sugar for the latter. As a result, my cookies were darker and softer than those in the recipe photo. Used roasted & salted macadamia nuts and I think they worked well.

      Reliable recipe. The cake is a bit dry even though I didn’t cook it as long as the recipe called for, and also doubled the amount of apricot. Still, it’s pretty delicious!
