Notes about this book

  • Cati on April 17, 2014

Had to go through book and put in page numbers myself. The page numbers were actually printed but so well camouflaged that I found it quicker to do that , than to be frustrated each time I used the index.

Notes about Recipes in this book

  • Coco-nutty granola

    • radishseed on June 08, 2014

I opted for butter and used honey instead of brown rice syrup. Baked for 30 min. at 250, then turned the oven up to 350 (needed it for something else) and baked for 7 min. more. I like the slightly bitter crunch of the chia seeds in this.

  • Turmeric, broccoli anti-inflammatory hash

    • tinkamasala on September 01, 2019

Optional: add sprouted legumes (see page 65)

  • My raspberry ripple

    • Jane on May 02, 2014

Very delicious. People couldn't believe it had no sugar. I used shredded coconut in the base then floated some flaked coconut on the top. It looked as good as the picture and tasted even better.

I made this for a keto friendly birthday gathering, non keto people liked it too.

  • Blueberry quinoa crumble

    • Jane on May 02, 2014

This isn't a traditional crumble in that the topping isn't dry and crumbly. But it is very tasty. I used almonds, pecans, sunflower seeds and pumpkin seeds. After baking the topping was quite dense and moist but it tasted very good. I used a combination of blueberries and blackberries for the fruit base - I think any fruit would work well in this crumble

Publishers Text

"I lost weight and my skin changed, it cleared. But when I quit the white stuff, I also started to heal. I found wellness and the kind of energy and sparkle I had as a kid. I don't believe in diets or in making eating miserable. This plan and the recipes are designed for lasting wellness." Sarah Wilson was a self-confessed sugar addict, eating the equivalent of 25 teaspoons of sugar every day, before making the link between her sugar consumption and a lifetime of mood disorders, fluctuating weight issues, sleep problems and thyroid disease. She knew she had to make a change. What started as an experiment soon became a way of life, then a campaign to alert others to the health damages of sugar.
