  • Soy vinegar dipping sauce

This sauce was great with the Gingery Pork Pot Stickers (page 58). I might try a hotter fresh pepper or the red pepper flakes next time.

This is the first time I have made pot stickers since going gluten free. I enjoyed the texture of the GF dumpling and I am excited that I can make my own again instead of buying expensive GF versions in the shop. As expected, the dough is more fragile, but they were fun to make.

Delicious! The dough was a little time consuming to make and roll into circles. I used my 3 1/2" English Muffin ring to cut the dough into perfect circles. They didn't take the full 8 minutes to steam in the pan. I served them with the Soy Vinegar Dipping Sauce (page 26). The filling could have used a few more herbs or spices. I'll use this dough to try other fillings. Try not to use too much sweet white rice flour when rolling out the circles, as the dough will dry out and crack.

  • Grilled tuna salad with ginger and carrot dressing

Delicious! We added sliced cucumber. It makes a lot of dressing. I added a little Tamari to the dressing and served it over steamed green beans and shredded carrots.

  • Steam sea bass with sizzling ginger

Easy and tasty. We used grouper and served it with Asian green beans.
