      My first time trying cardoons, received them in my veg box. Not a fan, it's like bitter celery! The recipe was OK, very simple flavours. I added some honey to counteract the bitterness and some capers to perk it up a bit. I now read that you should peel and boil cardoons before using, this wasn't mentioned in the online version of the recipe but presumably in the book.

      Really yummy, I think I would use less tahini next time but that's a personal preference thing

      This is an amazing recipe so full of flavour. I substituted walnuts for pine nuts. Fresh basil and mint with a good balsamic make this a wonderful summer dish.

      Loved this recipe. Only used half the dressing on the salad. Roasted the aubergine the night before when I had the oven on for something else. So in fact we had this cold, served as a main course for lunch with warm tortilla/pitta breads.

      A really nice stir-fry that doesn't have cabbage in it. The sauce is worth using with whatever veg.

      Good basic tabouleh recipe, I think I could have dried the bulgar out more or left it to cool down longer, the instructions where very scant which left a lot of margin for my error
