Notes about Recipes in this book

  • Prosecco grapes

    • LoriPedro on May 10, 2026

Made for a party and they were a big hit!

  • Jalapeño popper wonton cups

    • taste24 on June 15, 2020

These are delicious!!! So simple and very pleasing. A fun finger food for parties.

  • Cheese ball bites

    • Jviney on July 12, 2024

These are yummy. I thought I chopped my bacon and pecans finely enough but would go even finer next time. Everybody really enjoyed them.

  • Pretzel ring beer cheese dip

    • taste24 on June 15, 2020

This dish is fabulous - a total crowdpleaser and very impressive to those you serve it to. I loved using canned biscuits for the 'pretzels'. Everyone asked me for the recipe!

  • Hot reuben dip

    • Jviney on May 12, 2025

Excellent dip, quick and unusual, four adults vacuumed it. Maybe I’d put in more corned beef next time - at least a cup and a half total.

  • Egg-in-a-hole burgers

    • Logan92995 on December 07, 2023

Pretty unique take on an egg topped burger. Instead of being on top, the egg is cooked with the burger within a hole that's cut out. The hole itself isn't hard to make -- it's keeping the burger in shape one the hole has been made. Thankfully, only one of my burgers broke when cooking. The recipe also suggests topping with cheese, bacon, and sriracha mayo, the latter of which is a good addition (I'm a sucker for mayo condiments). The bacon is okay, but kind of overpowers any bite you take. Overall, I think I'd cook it a little less next time, as the egg kind of solidified once done. Overall, it's a neat take on a tried and true type of burger and if you're willing to put in a little extra work, it should pay off.

  • Firecracker salmon

    • hbakke on November 22, 2020

This was fine. I liked the sauce, but the lime slices underneath the fish fillets added an unpleasant bitter taste to the cooked fish. I would probably make this again because it was simple and flavorful, but I would leave out the sliced lime. Also, the salmon I used wasn't one giant fillet, but a bunch of pieces and ended up cooking (probably overcooking) at 15 minutes rather than the specified 20-25 minutes.

    • wcassity on November 02, 2021

Agreed that the lime slices detract from the final taste - too bitter. Maybe remove peel and pith? Needed 22 min to cook plus the 2 min of broiling.

    • jhallen on September 08, 2022

This was very good and very easy. Would make for a pretty & easy dish for a dinner party (comprised of people who like things a bit spicy). I completely forgot to put the scallions on top - will have to do that with the leftovers . . .

    • sburton0409 on July 31, 2025

Use less limes than the recipe calls for. Otherwise it's okay.

    • ashley_pryt07 on April 21, 2026

Definitely nix the limes under the salmon

  • Cheesy chicken broccoli bake

    • H_Leblanc123 on November 05, 2022

Easy and delicious. Added mushrooms to the mix.

    • suzie_ez1fnt on December 03, 2025

I add just a dash of cyanine pepper and serve with cranberry sauce. One of my families favourites!

  • Cheeseburger cups

    • Jviney on June 19, 2025

This was a fun dinner for the kiddos. They fought over the three leftovers. I used American cheese and we’d add more next time than a quarter thin slice. Yummy summer dinner.

  • Bang bang shrimp

    • Jviney on February 09, 2026

So good! Everybody in the family loved it, sauce has the perfect amount of spice. Yum.

  • Pizza waffles

    • Hillhan on May 03, 2026

      Easy, fun and pretty good

  • Crunchwrap supreme

    • taste24 on June 15, 2020

Finally, I can make crunchwrap supremes at home!! This recipe is spot on, but with one major adjustment: use your own taco seasoning/a taco seasoning packet. The meat was flavorless and did not resemble taco meat at all. Fun and delicious!

  • Mexican chicken pasta

    • Logan92995 on January 16, 2024

Honestly really underwhelmed. I thought this would be really creamy and full of flavor but sadly that wasn't the case. It tasted fine, but it wasn't great. I'd rather just have a regular bowl of pasta.

  • Slow-cooker carnitas

    • Hillhan on January 05, 2026

Easy to make and good flavor.

  • Loaded nacho soup

    • Jviney on April 28, 2025

Really delicious. I went light on the spice to start and would recommend the same, depending on how strong your chili powder is. Served with sour cream, pico, guacamole, cilantro, and crushed tortilla chips. Barely served five as three of them went back for seconds.

  • Quesadilla cake

    • taste24 on June 15, 2020

This was good - all of my guests enjoyed. Simple to put together. Make sure you get the proper tortilla shell size

  • Chicken enchilada skillet

    • LoriPedro on May 10, 2026

      Great weeknight dish. Family loved

  • Buddha bowls

    • wcassity on April 10, 2022

      So good!!! A family favorite.

  • Bang bang Brussels sprouts

  • Death by chocolate zucchini bread

    • wcassity on September 20, 2025

      Delicious and easy.

  • BBQ chicken twice-baked potatoes

    • wcassity on November 02, 2021

Delicious! Everyone loved. I was worried it wouldn’t be enough food with the medium sweet potatoes, but it was a lot.

  • Stuffed eggplant Parm

    • LeahBoBeah on January 10, 2026

Winner! Toasted the breadcrumbs in some olive oil (plain breadcrumbs mixed w/Italian seasoning. )

  • Everything bagel dip

    • taste24 on December 14, 2020

This was great and very easy - I made it with my premixed everything but the bagel seasoning, used whipped cream cheese and served with garlic bagel chips.

    • Jviney on September 22, 2025

So fast and a big hit with adults and kids. Easy to halve it. Served with bagel chips, cucumber, and pretzels.

  • Snickerdoodle blondies

    • debakken on September 28, 2025

I was looking for a variation on the traditional blondie. These bars turn out moist and not too dense (note: the instructions don't say how long to cream the butter and sugar mixture but I did it for at least five minutes, with another two to three minutes after I added the eggs and vanilla) and smelling fabulous from the cinnamon. The texture is not, as the authors admit, quite like the cookie (no cream of tartar in the bars) but the addition of cinnamon sugar on the top does create a similar feel. Delicious and so easy.
