Notes about Recipes in this book

  • Orecchiette with chickpeas

    • katmagdunn on April 21, 2026

A very nice and not too complicated pasta dish that is a bit more complex tasting than it looks — it works equally well room temp as a pasta salad.

  • Bhel puri

    • katmagdunn on May 11, 2026

This is really good but a bit insubstantial as a main, even with paratha on the side. I recommend serving as part of a larger spread

  • Buffalo chickpea crunch wrap

    • katmagdunn on April 15, 2026

Easy and crowd pleasing… but very messy!! Resist overfilling the wraps, too!

  • Crispy noodle omelette

    • katmagdunn on April 21, 2026

It’s a bit of a faff cooking and crisping the noodles before you even get to the omelette, but the results are delicious — puffy and savoury. I admit I add a little fish sauce to the eggs and finish with a sesame sprinkle. The dipping sauce is a must.

  • Feta tart with tomato & olive salad

    • katmagdunn on April 14, 2026

This was surprisingly easy and looked and tasted great. Sprinkled with everything bagel seasoning at the end.
