      As advertised, this is rather bland kid food. Had excellent ground lamb sirloin. Served with na'an bread and tzatzki. Filling and rich, but not wow. Easy prep, can be done on a weeknight. Baked at 350 deg. for 22 min.

      We weren't blown away by this. The artichokes needed longer than 10 minutes in the oven to develop some charring around the edges. We just didn't think they were anything special prepared in this way.

      The flavours were great, but the cooking times were completely off. Even with an additional 45 mins, the sweet potato was still not soft using the technique described. I would suggest adding a really good splosh of water/stock after coating the sweet potato in the spice mix, just to get the ball rolling.

      A tasty chilli con carne, that’s mild enough for the kids. Takes 2hrs to simmer, but very easy as all of the veg is blitzed in the food processor.

      This was really delicious. I was a bit nervous about the amount of dried mint (2 tbsp), but it worked beautifully.

    It really is a fab book... It is so colourful and quirky and overflowing with photos (a must in my book, no pun intended!)...you just have to buy it. You will love it too, I just know you will!

"Leon 2: Naturally Fast Food" is again a book of two halves. The first half is 'Fast Food', which contains recipes for every occasion that take a maximum of 20 minutes to prepare: from a work day breakfast and children's meals to simple suppers and party food. The second half is 'Slow Fast Food' which contains things that can be made in advance when you have time, to enjoy when you don't have time. There is plenty in both halves for both the experienced cook and the culinary adventurer in search of inspiration.
