      My favorite lasagna ever, and over the years I have been making this I've adapted it to our tastes by substituting ground turkey, and making the besciamella with only whole milk (lactose free) instead of heavy cream. It takes a little longer to get the sauce the right consistency but, with just the light dusting of parm on top, is relatively low dairy.

      I have made this a few times and it is a delicious and rich version of mac and cheese - the tabasco gives it a nice kick.

      I made this for a Thanksgiving side alongside a less sweet/savory sweet potato side that I got from Food 52. The title states almond topping but the recipe calls for pecans so I went with almond and while everyone liked this one, it was definitely on the sweet side.

      Very good and easy. Used more cauliflower. Steam closer to 4 minutes. The boiled cream gets thick and paste like so only cooked 7 minutes. Bake 10-12 minutes.
