      Really disappointing. The sauce just wasn't balanced & I couldn't resurrect it, so we wasted great wine AND tainted the excellent venison...

      Made as per the recipe, the boiled Jerusalem artichokes weren’t particularly appealing, but my original suspicions were correct: on repeating this dish, I instead roasted them at 200oC for 30 mins, resulting in a fantastic salad.
