Delicious savory muffins with fresh herbs.

  • Sunrise muffins

This makes a tasty batch of muffins; since it uses orange marmalade & not a lot of sugar, my fear was that it might be too orangey in not a nice way. But the balance of flavors was actually very good. The only real issue is that the yield says "About 12". Well, make that 12 little muffins that got overly crunchy using the minimum time required. Next time, I'll make 6-8 muffins & go for bigger muffins with hopefully a more tender result.

  • Old Vermont cheddar-cranberry muffins

Loved these muffins; seems like an ideal New England breakfast side. I used 1/3 cup maple sugar (as suggested in the note), walnuts, and frozen cranberries.
