    Fresh peach cobbler (pg 31) - yes, I know. Who needs a recipe for a peach cobbler? Well, this recipe made me consider adding vanilla to my peaches, demerara sugar on top, and use boiling water for the dough. I ignored the instructions to prebake the peaches for no reason other than habit. And while my Father believed ice cream went with everything, I held firm on my belief there is no reason to ruin a great peach cobbler by putting ice cream on it. But this was another successful recipe from a cookbook I adore.
