Notes about Recipes in this book

  • Granola for everyone

    • ccav on December 12, 2021

This was really good and easy. Made with puffed kamut and sliced almonds.

    • e_ballad on May 16, 2021

Ignore the quantities specified in this recipe. Double them! My 3x kids devoured the whole lot in one sitting!!!

  • Paprika-spiced mushroom stew

    • mlbatt on December 29, 2021

Indexing error - there's no tortellini in the recipe. However, there are mushrooms!

  • Roasted chile-peanut tofu

    • mlbatt on December 29, 2021

I expected more from this, it was just okay. Hubby liked it a bit more than I did, though.

  • Sriracha-tomato soup

    • kath on December 29, 2021

This tomato soup was simple and very good, BUT... 3 tablespoons of Sriracha made it way too hot for me. Even my heat-loving husband thought it was too spicy. I would definitely make it again, but probably with 1 tablespoon of Sriracha. I'd put the bottle of Sriracha on the table for people to spice it up, if they want.

  • Jasmine-chia breakfast pudding

    • EmilyR on March 23, 2021

I've previously made this with coconut milk, which is far richer, but the Jasmine comes through with regular milk. Nice and simple.

  • Coconut-baked tofu with broccoli & beans

    • EmilyR on March 31, 2021

After surveying the foods I had on hand I then saw the Cilantro-green curry paste here as well as the rest of the ingredients and it was kismet. This is a simple and effortless dish - as many I've made in this book seem to be, but packed with flavor.

  • Burrata ball, four ways: turmeric-garlic drizzle

    • EmilyR on March 29, 2021

i don't need an excuse to eat burrata, but this is a nice change for something a bit different.

  • Jalapeño-cheddar socca

    • EmilyR on March 31, 2021

Perfect little savory chickpea pancakes. I paired it with a salted labneh... also made the beet + feta variant from the book.

  • Cilantro-green curry paste

    • EmilyR on March 31, 2021

Needed green curry paste in a pinch and here it is! Flavorful and effortless to make.

  • Peanut stew with spinach & miso

    • lizbot2000 on March 28, 2021

This was great! Really easy and fast and delicious. I'll be making this again and experimenting with other curry pastes.

  • Jalapeño-lime split pea soup

    • lizbot2000 on March 28, 2021

This was wonderful. The yogurt and hemp hearts really add to it, and I was surprised at how much I liked the jalapeño and salsa verde with the split peas. Easy, fast, delicious.

  • Pinkest party dip

    • sayeater on October 07, 2021

Comes together quickly. Used Rancho Gordo cassoulet beans that I pressure cooked. Bright pink color even without the dragonfruit powder. A solid bean dip, but no wow factor other than color.
