Publishers Text
A prime indication of culture, it seems to me, is an interest in presenting food so that it pleases the eye as well as the palate. . . Perhaps no nation knows more about the art of garniture than do the French, unless of course it could be the Japanese. The setting in which food is consumed is important and so is our own attitude towards it. Party food looks better it we look as if we belonged at the party.Other cookbooks by this author
