Notes about Recipes in this book

  • Pine nut, sultana and onion pilaf

    • e_ballad on November 14, 2017

Loved this way of cooking a pilaf. I’d halve the quantity of sultanas in future outings as it was a bit too sweet with the amount specified.

  • Chicken, oyster sauce and noodle stir-fry

    • e_ballad on September 20, 2017

      Bland, bland, bland...

  • Lime coriander lamb cutlets

    • e_ballad on May 16, 2018

A very easy mid-week dish. I used the minimum marinating time (20 mins) & felt that plenty of the flavour still came through.

  • Zucchini with raisins and pine nuts

    • e_ballad on April 26, 2018

A very easy side dish. The quantity of pine nuts is a little extreme in contrast to the other ingredients, so I would halve the amount in future. I’d also be tempted to increase the amount of mint.

  • Muesli munchies

    • e_ballad on June 21, 2019

Went into this recipe with low expectations, primarily as a vehicle for using up a granola that I had made that wasn’t too great. But these were great! Very moreish.
