      This was extremely bland. I did not find the combo of the groats and noodles texturally intersting/pleasing. That said, I did over-cook the buckwheat groats.

  • Singapore noodles with pork

      Easy and flavorful. Very delicious with mushroom soy sauce. I did 1/2" pieces instead of slicing pork. It's a bit of work to evenly incorporate the stuff in the tangle of noodles. I ended up wielding the scissors to cut the noodles. I boiled the rice vermicelli for 5 minutes. Despite the soaking, I think it would have been under-done with just a 2 minute stir in the pan.
