When used in just the right dose and in tandem with just the right flavors, honey can make even the most savory of recipes slightly and pleasingly sweet. This is one of those recipes.

It was a huge hit. A hint of sour in the soup, full body from the egg yolk, the heartiness of the rice and chickpeas, and the lemony oregano pesto made this an intoxicating bowl-ful of goodness.
