    Delicious! No deviations from recipe, we made 4 eggs for two people to go along with the roasted brussel sprouts and turmeric fish soup. Would definitely repeat.

    love this dip. It's slightly hot but not overwhelming very easy to put together. Make sure you give it plenty of time to reduce and thicken.

    Comes together super fast. I tend to not use all the lime juice - must taste as you go to ensure not too sour. I love that the veggies are just barely cooked and the celery adds a brilliant crunch.

    Good. I haven't met any Thai salads that I don't like. Used a bag of good frozen corn and skipped the salted duck egg.

    Got inspired to try this dish after reading the review. I adapted the recipe to what I have. Cherry tomatoes quartered instead of one medium. Canned corn and two baby cucumbers. Also I don't have dried chilies so I used 1/2 tsp mild ancho chili powder. Hardest part was chopping the sugar felt like it took forever. I love the dressing It's light and not overpowering and I will use it in other salads as well.

    Oh man is this ever good. If you like the flavors of Thai salad - spicy, tart, a little funky - this recipe using fridge standbys of cabbage and carrot is a delicious one. Even my son who doesn't love Thai or cabbage said it was tasty after a bite! I used the lowest number of chiles she noted and it was perfect.

• Green curry chicken with winter melon (Gaeng kiew waan gai sai fak)

    If you like curry, you'll like this. Used her green curry paste and subbed in a bell pepper and bamboo shoots for the veg. Found it needed a bit of salt in addition to the max fish sauce as I don't think I salted the curry paste enough. I rarely have green curry as I don't usually make scratch paste and think the red and yellow ones are a better option when purchased. This is a nice treat!

    This was good. Not my absolute favorite (I have a real weakness for the traditional chicken and potato yellow curry) but definitely one that I'd consider making again. The roasty flavor did set it apart from the usual.

    Tasty. We used chicken stock and fished out all the aromatics before adding the fish (halibut in our case). ETA -make sure to eat all on Day One, did not hold up well!

• Coconut galangal salmon soup (Tom kha pla salmon)

    Tasty and well worth making, but I have to say I prefer a chicken or tofu version over the salmon. I felt the fish was a bit too assertive against the aromatics.

    This is incredibly yummy and easy once you have pork stock in the freezer. Will be making this regularly.

    Not exciting, but tasty, homey, and easy. Ate with a salad for a simple dinner.

    Delicious. Used long beans and store bought nam prik pao - am sure that homemade would be even better but this was pretty tasty nonetheless. Fried shallots are not optional, to me! Her shallot frying method yielded the best and most evenly cooked fried shallots that I've ever made. Highly recommend this.

    Yum! Super easy and delicious. If you have a high-BTU burner or a torch, this would be the time to break it out.

    Very tasty and easy, would definitely repeat. 15 minutes roasting was a couple too long - maybe check sooner. Fried garlic was an easy way to make it even more interesting!

• Green curry paste (Prik gaeng kaew waan)

    Made a 3x batch in the Vitamix. Yes, I know that it comes out better in the mortar and pestle but that isn't going to happen. Used Thai green chiles, about 1/4 were de-seeded. The other chili I used jalapenos, also de-seeded. Spice level was fair but honestly could have left seeds in all the Thai chiles and still been fine. Used regular limes for zesting, otherwise everything per recipe including shrimp paste (even found the cilantro roots at the Hmong market!). Quite tasty and will freeze remaining portions. Used her green curry recipe with different veg.
