Notes about Recipes in this book

  • Goat cheese and herb skillet soufflé

    • kari500 on October 25, 2019

We love this. I have successfully subbed blue cheese.

  • Sam Choy's award-winning roast duck

    • EasyBakeThis on August 16, 2024

Too salty, skin did not crisp through, came out too dry. It was just not good at all. We didn't even bother eating the leftovers.

  • Beer-braised short ribs

    • mamacrumbcake on October 01, 2017

These short ribs are perfection! The meat is so tender and the beer, onions, and tomato cook down into a rich, delicious gravy. Mashed potatoes are a must. This is homey comfort food that is so well done that it would be wonderful for company and kid friendly too.

  • Slow-roasted salmon

    • wkhull on July 30, 2020

Healthy, tasty, but nothing to write home about. I used a 2# fillet and the entire 1 cup of chives. Forgot to bring the fillet to room temperature so had to cook 22 minutes.

  • Cranberry horseradish relish

    • bching on November 26, 2016

Delicious on turkey sandwiches. So easy and refreshing. I used a little over half the amount of sugar called for and glad I did. Also tossed 6 juniper berries in the food processor with the cranberries.
