Notes about Recipes in this book

  • Super summer salad

    • treay on December 29, 2024

Delicious combination of vegetables. I have changed some of the ingredients because I didn't have some at home. I added some green asparagus, cooked in the microwave for about 1.30 minutes and then sliced in half lengthways. Also changed the vinegar. I used champagne vinegar instead. One of the best green salads we have tried so far.

  • Prawn cakes in lettuce cups

    • debkellie on July 25, 2014

These were very good, and the cakes can be prepped in advance.

  • Lebanese chicken with radish salad

    • debkellie on July 25, 2014

      Extremely tasty. Worth repeating.

  • Seed crackers

    • debkellie on July 25, 2014

Not overwhelming. Probably not worth the time investment.

  • Beetroot hummus

    • debkellie on July 25, 2014

A really nice (and easy) dip.

  • Carrot cake

    • treay on March 04, 2025

Too moist. Too much oil and eggs.

  • Lemon and lime cheesecake

    • debkellie on July 25, 2014

Not sure I'd repeat this one: be careful about which honey you choose. I used leatherwood & it totally dominated. Texture was interesting, and made an easy, gluten-free Paleo dessert. It feeds an army.
