Notes about Recipes in this book

  • Watermelon agua fresca

    • Ajammies on August 02, 2023

I didn’t have any mint (which I’m sure would have made a difference but my family is iffy on mint) and used pre-squeezed lime and it was too much lime. Fresh lime might be better.

  • Buffalo grilled shrimp with goat cheese dipping sauce

    • alliebaybay on October 14, 2021

Made this for dinner tonight and it did not turn out. I overseasoned the shrimp and they were way too spicy. The goat cheese sauce was okay but not sure how good it paired with the shrimp. Probably would not make this again. Also the boyfriend did not like it at all. :(

  • Roasted mushroom and kale pizzette

    • lean1 on August 26, 2020

I love this recipe. the dough divided into a least 6 pieces, could have made 8 and rose in the oven to a beautiful puff. I loved the topping, but made the kale green lettuce instead. Will make again

  • Calabrian chile pasta

    • MeganGarcia on March 27, 2019

This was an outstanding, restaurant quality dish, but not good at all as leftovers. Best when the tomatoes are decent.

  • Sole with lemon caper sauce

    • swiand on October 15, 2024

We have done this with both sole and orange roughy. The sauce is a pungent, tangy delight.

  • Campfire salmon in packets

    • mpo on May 04, 2021

Really easy to make, I added squash to the bottom of the foil packet. My salmon was a little too big, so I had to finish in the oven

  • Roasted cauliflower with capers and almonds

    • Lesliehauser on May 11, 2017

Roast a bit longer to brown and get nutty taste.

  • Roasted chicken with potatoes and leeks

    • swiand on January 09, 2026

The pan sauce was great with the potato and leeks. We have so many favorite roast chickens that this one is nice but there are better.
