Notes about Recipes in this book

  • Apple, sumac, red onion & pomegranate salad

    • aberne on May 11, 2019

Comes together really easy and is nice and surprising combo as a side for grilled meats or other rich dishes. Even the picky kid liked it, Minus the onions, of course.

  • Cumin-roasted eggplant wedges with pumpkin seeds, pine nuts, pomegranate & yogurt dressing

    • ncollyer on May 29, 2016

Enjoyed this tasty and easy dish. Beautiful on a platter. Good combination of flavours and textures.

    • sonyarr on November 25, 2022

This was very good even though I didn't have enough cumin seeds. Looks beautiful with all the colors. Need to use plenty of olive oil for roasting the eggplant.

  • Honey & spice challah

    • Cathyschuh on July 18, 2021

This is my favorite challah bread that is not a standard challah bread. Personally I triple the spices and then you can really taste it. Great toasted with peanut butter. I also do the roasted cherry tomato and feta recipe as an appetizer then toast this bread for spreading it on. Fabulous!

  • Citrus & za'atar chicken

    • mpo on July 01, 2021

I made the marinade for chicken breasts. Very flavorful.
