Would love to hear from someone who's used this. I was given it and while it's a beautifully presented book, most recipes have as an ingredient one or more other recipes eg. chicken tikka, base sauce, various spice mixes - which themselves may refer you to a recipe!

Notes about Recipes in this book

  • Chicken bhuna

    • juleswilkes on November 08, 2025

I used left over lamb for this and combined with the traditional cooking instructions for lamb bhuna in this book. Also added a generous amount of dried fenugreek leaves towards the end, just because I love the flavour, plus some finely chopped coriander stems (early on), again as i like the flavour and saves wastingthem. Didn't go mad with chillies. Served the following day. Very tasty

  • Salmon kofta bhuna

    • Bessp on October 18, 2025

This was sort of meh. The kofta turned out a bit dry and the vegetables were grainy from the spices. I don't think I'll make it again.

  • Potato curry

    • Silver.bird22 on December 09, 2025

Boiling whole potatoes takes forever, but I liked the texture at the end.

  • Broccoli curry

    • CourtneyT on January 01, 2026

I had high hopes for this and it is certainly lovely but just shy of amazing. If you have the ingredients on hand, it's worth a try.

  • Lamb rogan josh

    • GC62 on February 08, 2026

This rogan josh recipe is a lot of work for an ok outcome. There are better and less time consuming versions.
