Notes about this book

First impression is that this book simplifies recipes to be cooked in one-pan but they are still full of flavour. They also need side dishes even if its a simple salad or chutney. Looking forward to cooking more.

Notes about Recipes in this book

  • Nadan chicken curry

    • Leo on August 20, 2025

Enjoyed this. However the initial cooking of the onions takes much longer than the 15 minutes stated in the recipe. It can't be rushed so I cooked them for 30 minutes.

  • Goan-style pork keema vindaloo

    • Leo on August 19, 2025

Quick but not necessarily simple. Lots of spices needed so needed to dig deep into the spice cupboard. Delicious dinner with rice and spiced green beans. My first recipe from this book and will probably not be the last.

  • Crispy chilli chicken and broccoli

    • Deja1 on April 27, 2025

Very good. However, the lime juice was a little too overpowering and the sauce didn't get as thick as we like so I will reduce that next time.
